How do you add pictures?

I have scanned in some photos of coins I would like to ask about, but I cannot figure out how to make them visible in a post. Any suggestions?

I think there are two ways. Float over the controls at the top of the post you're creating. There will be one that says HOST AN IMAGE and one that says IMAGE. Let's start with the second one.

1. Log in to a site like flickr.com (which is what I use), photobucket, imageshack, or some other site. The only one I can recommend is flickr because it's the only one I've used.
2. Follow the instructions on uploading your pics to that site.
3. Right click on one of the images you've uploaded, and click COPY IMAGE LOCATION.
4. Come back to WorldCent and start a post, then click IMAGE.
5. Right click on the input bar that comes up, and click PASTE.
Then click SEND, and voila!

I have tried the HOST IMAGE icon. I can link it to a photo on the computer, but when I click the final "Host" button, nothing happens. Unfortunately, my PC is not connected to the scanner, so I have to use my wife's Crapintosh/Macintrash, and it ain't working for me. I will give Flickr a trial. Thanks.

TEST: This image was added using the HOST AN IMAGE button.

1. Click HOST AN IMAGE and click BROWSE.
2. Find where the picture is on your computer, select it and hit OPEN.
3. Resize it if necessary, and click HOST IT.
4. In the menu that pops up, select the bottom line and copy it.
5. Back on the WorldCent post menu, click IMAGE and paste your info in the box.
Hit OK and TAAAAA-DAAAAAA!

I think that will work based on what I had seen. Maybe the Crapintosh wasn't the problem afterall.

Okay scanning works, but now the picture is too big. It looks ugly. How do I cut out the filler on a Mac?

Nevermind. I just got my own crash-course with iPhoto. Now the posted pics look better.
