Why does some silver tarnish and some does not 
For instance, my loaf style Engelhard silver 10 ounce bar does not tarnish. However, my 10 ounce Academy stacker bars do. I know this doesn't change the fact that silver is silver, but shiny silver sells for more on Ebay.

I don`t know why some silver tarnishes and some don`t, but if for sale is all you want the shine for I would polish it.
silver bars are not like coins, all I have seen at the shows is polished.
I saw two 1,000 ounce bars at the last show that was polished.
