Canadian dollar coin

I picked up $5 worth of Canadian dollar coins for free at a coin show. Are there any members in Canada that would let me mail them to them to convert?

I believe Jadedragon goes back and forth between Canada and the US fairly often. But $5 will barely cover postage - I'd wait til you get some more from rolls or something.

Yes I maintain a US PO box. If you want to mail me Canadian coins save them up and ship them over. I'll mail you back US cash or paypal. $5 is not really worth the shipping, but some members have made some some good buys in coin shops and then shipped to me for exchange.

How did you score that penny saved? I did not think they gave away anything free at coin shows

I met the guy off craigslist from an ad I put on for foreign coins that I wanted for cheap. He said he would be at the coin show and give me some. None of them were silver lot of generic modern foreign coins

Turns out he was a vendor at the show. I ended up buying some silver quarters and dimes off of him.

he was probably just being a nice guy since it was the holidays and wanted to promote the coin show.

I am definitely going back; I picked up some mercury dimes for 95 cents a piece.

I also have found $1 canadian coins in the junk bin at the coin store. I could buy those for 8 cents a piece all day long.

thats more than a good deal! getting the Dollars for 8 cent each!
