The Cartwheel!

Over 2 ounces of copper! Made in the 1790s in Great Britain and a FV of two pence.

Nice coin, that thing could double as a defensive weapon. As for the 20th century, the 3 heaviest bronze/copper coins I am aware of are,

1905 Korean 5 Fun - 17.2 g @ 100% fine.
1905 thru 1917 Finnish 10 Pennia - 12.8 g @ 100% fine.
1955 thru 1959 Mexican 50 Centavos - 12 g @ 95% fine.

That is quite a bit of copper; are junk versions of that coin pretty affordable?

Pretty sure the Russian 5 Kopek from the time of Catherine the Great is heavier. I think they also made a 10 Kopek in copper.. but most of us probably couldn't afford one of those.

The largest and heaviest copper coin made would undoubtedly be Swedish Plate Money! What a Face

Is that yours? No fair, it's better than mine! If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for yours?
Mine does have some interesting scrollwork on both sides!

These bad boys are 5mm thick too!
